Our services > Engineering and consultancy

The assessment of adequacy of machines and work equipment to laws and regulations on health and safety, provides to the employer an essential tool for the prevention of accident risk, and also it provides a valuable demonstration of its accident prevention effort during inspections by the competent Authority.

The service includes the following steps:

  • visual inspection and functional testing of machines and equipment

  • issuance of the Technical Report indicating any shortcomings and the corrective action necessary to restore conditions of conformity, regarding both the integrity of the machine and of the protection systems for security, and the completeness of information (instructions of safe use)

  • implementation of any corrective action (by the employer)

  • verification of the implementation of corrective actions, and consequent review of the Technical Report which shows the conformity of the machine

  • Drafting manuals / instructions for safe use for the machines without such documents

The Technical Report is signed by the qualified technician who performed the verification of the Machine. The Technical Report can be shown in case of inspection by the competent authority for health and safety at work. Inspexi assumes the responsibility to support the contents of the technical report, with specific reference to the prescribed corretive actions content, if the service also includes the checking the implementation of the remedial actions Inspexi assumes a responsibility to support the effectiveness of such remedial actions, at the condition that the employer must implement such actions on volunteer bases but agreed in advance with the technician in charge of the inspection.
